We’re proud to announce that as of August 2nd, Anvil exceeded 7 million hours without a lost time injury. Reaching this important milestone has taken over 8 years and a lot of hard work, dedication from our employees, and support from clients. “Safety has always been a top priority at Anvil and this milestone is a testament to the strong safety culture we’ve built and the continuous efforts from our employees and clients to ensure personal and co-worker safety,” said Gordy Lindell, Anvil’s President.

At Anvil, Doyon Anvil, and Redi Anvil, we place a high value on employee safety and are committed to providing a safe workplace so all employees can go home safely to their loved ones at night.

Safety doesn’t happen by chance – it requires that all of us pay careful attention. This 7 million hour milestone was reached by our employees’ commitment to our safety programs and culture, which includes:

  • Employee Stop Work Authority Program
  • Anvil Target Zero Safety Recognition Program
  • Dedicated and active Employee Safety Committee
  • Strong management commitment to workplace safety

Thank you to all our clients and employees for playing an integral part in supporting Anvil’s safety mission and helping us reach this significant milestone. We are committed to continually investing in our safety culture, maintaining our high level of awareness, and empowering employees to recognize and prevent hazards in the workplace.

“Achieving this milestone is a joint effort from both our employees and clients and we look forward to continuing our collaborative safety approach to ensure no one gets hurt – ever,” added Lindell.

Congratulations to our Anvil, Doyon Anvil, and Redi Anvil teams for reaching this significant safety milestone!
